ARAMID PAPER, FILAMENT, YARN, FABRIC & FLEECE

Aramid Paper

We offer a range of meta-aramid and para-aramid papers from 0.05mm to 0.18mm in thickness depending upon the type. The degree of calendering depends upon the final application and will affect resin uptake, tensile strength and dielectric properties.

We can uniquely supply papers based upon Polyoxydiazole (POD) which have superior homogeneity, tensile strength and thermal ageing properties.

Aramid Filament, Filament Yarn and Spun Yarn

Our yarns are constructed from meta-aramid or para-aramid staple fibre or filament. Filaments have high strength, modulus, fatigue strength and thermal stability.

In addition to filament for general application, we offer types specific for outdoor optical fibre cable reinforcement, ballistic protection and sleeving rubber reinforcement.

Our high or low stiffness polyester-dipped cord for "V" and conveyor belts has high strength, high specific modulus, high temperature resistance, fatigue resistance and cut resistance.

Aramid Fabric

We can supply a warp/weft 1100 dtex/667F fabric with application in bulletproof vests.

Aramid Fleece

For use in such applications as cut and fire protection. Meta-aramid and para-aramid fleece is available in 200 gsm and 350 gsm. Other surface densities upon request.

Aramid paper may be sputter-coated with Cu/Ni to produce a conductive paper for RFI applications.

Para-aramid pulp, filament and spun yarn.

Aramid fleece is used in protective apparel and electrical insulation.
